Each family’s experience with death is unique. My role is to offer presence, guidance, and
steadiness through the emotional, spiritual, and practical layers of dying and loss. Whether
supporting you in preparing paperwork, creating ritual, or simply sitting beside you or your loved
one, my intention is to bring peace, clarity, and connection to every step of the journey.
End-of-Life Paperwork
Preparing for death often begins with practicalities that can feel overwhelming. I help guide you through these steps with calm and clarity—completing your Advance Healthcare Directive, Power of Attorney, and funeral or disposition preferences, while also supporting the emotional and spiritual reflections that arise during this process. Together, we bring intention and peace to the details, so you and your loved ones can focus on what matters most.
Two-Person End-of-Life Planning Workshop
This private workshop is designed for partners, close friends, or family members who want to thoughtfully prepare for end-of-life together. In a supportive and guided space, we explore practical planning such as advance directives, power of attorney, funeral or disposition wishes, and personal preferences for care. We also make room for meaningful conversation about values, legacy, fears, hopes, and what truly matters at life’s end.
These sessions help reduce uncertainty, strengthen communication, and bring clarity and peace to important decisions. Together, we create a plan that reflects each person’s wishes while fostering deeper understanding, connection, and confidence for the journey ahead.
Family Dynamic Support
Every family carries its own history, tenderness, and pain. When relationships are strained or communication has become difficult, I serve as a neutral, compassionate bridge. My role is to hold space for everyone involved—facilitating understanding, encouraging boundaries, and keeping focus on the care and comfort of the dying individual. With patience and care, I help families come together in service of their loved one, even when it feels complicated.
Sitting with the Dying
Sometimes, what’s most needed is presence. I sit with the dying—reading aloud, listening to family stories, recording memories, writing letters, or simply offering quiet companionship.
For those in nursing homes or care facilities, I can visit regularly, ensuring your loved one is supported and seen. These moments can bring immense comfort and connection, even without words.
Celebration of Life Ceremonies
A Celebration of Life doesn’t have to wait until after death. Together, we can create a gathering that allows the dying person to experience the love, gratitude, humor and stories that surround them while they are still here to receive it. These moments can bring profound healing and closure to both the individual and their community.
Home Funerals
For families who wish to keep their loved one’s body at home after death, I offer guidance and support throughout the process. This includes preparing the body, creating ritual and vigil, and helping loved ones engage with death in a tender, meaningful way.
Funeral Home Coordination
When a funeral home is involved, I work alongside the family and the funeral director to ensure the arrangements reflect the wishes of the deceased and the needs of the family. This coordination allows loved ones to focus on the grieving process, without the burden of logistics.
Sliding Scale
I believe end-of-life care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance. My services are offered on a sliding scale starting at $30/hour, with $60/hour as my comfort range. Rates are always adjusted based on individual ability and need. We’ll discuss what feels fair and sustainable for both of us during our initial consultation.
Packages:
Packages are when 3 or more services are needed. For example: if you would like help with paperwork, a celebration of life ceremony and emotional support in the form of visits, then that would be a package. I offer the following packages:
-3 services plus 6 hour long visits: $2000
-4 services plus 6 hour long visits: $2500
-All offered services plus six hour long visits: $3500
You can add additional visits to any package for an extra fee. Packages are also subject to a sliding scale.
